Railroad History
Listed below you will find photos of the
Newport & Sherman’s Valley Railroad, Perry County Railroad, and the
Susquehanna River & Western Railroad.
The photos were provided by Thomas Taber. Mr. Taber collected the pictures when he did
research on Pennsylvania’s railroads and lumber companies from 1959 to
1978. These pictures are apart of a
scrap book Mr. Taber created on the railroads of Perry County. The
scrapbook can be viewed at the Blue Ball Tavern. Please click on the photos to view a
